Religious Education

847-526-6400 		Those who decide to follow the Catholic Faith should, in some manner, learn what this wonderful Faith is really all about. Attending Mass simply to be there misses much of its real meaning. Religious education provides sources for developing an understanding and appreciation of our Faith. Transfiguration's School of Religion assists in the preparation for the reception of the Sacraments and helps develop the value of practicing the Faith to its full potential. School Board

Transfiguration School Board 		The School Board is a vital parish ministry. Its primary mission is to assist the pastor and principal in providing the children of the parish with the best religious and academic formation and education possible. The Board members receive training and experience through seminars provided by the Archdiocese and exercise their role in union with the principal and pastor at monthly meetings. They actively participate in developing means to financially support the school.
Mr Tim Brunn (847-526-9593) is the current Board President, and Mrs Barbara Yank, 847-526-6311) is the School Principal.
